The New Apple iPod Touch

Apple introduces the latest edition of the iPod Touch.  The two big improvements are the Retina screen and the dual cameras. The screen is the same found in the iPhone 4, which is 960×640, 3.5″, all as expected.

The rear camera does 720p, but only takes pictures at 960×720; the front-facing VGA camera is the same. Steve Jobs went so far as calling the iPod touch the “iPhone without a contract.”

It’s running an A4 processor, and is available with up to 64GB of space. It seems to have all the same internals, including gyro. FaceTime will work between the iPod touch and iPhone, by the way. Hit the jump to see the GB offerings and the cost of each. Read more…

Multiflow App – Easily Multitask With Your iPhone & iPad

Palm’s OS isn’t the only kid on the block with exposé like multitasking. One thing that has always lacked in the apple OS department (besides the dropped calls, but that’s on AT&T) was its underwhelming ability to multi task smoothly. A great app called Multiflow ($4.99) works with iOS4, and iPad! Multifl0w shows all open apps (up to 9) on the same screen, for easy and quick task switching. The tabs are re-arrangeable, just drag an drop! In iOS4, Multifl0w can work alongside or totally replace Apple’s task switcher. Also compatible on iOS 3.1.X, just be sure to install the free app Backgrounder. Also, on iOS4, Backgrounder enables more customization so you can get the multitasking style you want.  More images and a demo video after the jump, Read more…

iPhone Camera Lens

The iPhone camera is pretty amazing for the 3GS & 4G on its own, and the camera apps from the App Store add even more effects and filters. To make things even better a small lens has been developed to work with all camera phones, but especially for the iPhones. You have a choice between either a macro lens or fisheye lens that attaches by magnet to a metal ring placed on your phone. Take a look at more pics below and you can pre-order here now for delivery by mid-September. [via]

Temple Bags iPad Case Collection

We got our first taste of Temple Bagsversion of the iPad Case back in April of this year. Recently, they’ve taking the initiative of bringing forth a couple of new styles to an already outstanding collection. The first drop had a slight vintage feel and these do as well but with a touch of modernism. Each is seen in leather and canvas material make ups with brass and metallic accents. Definitely a good pick up for those in search of a cool protector for that extremely expensive iPad. You can purchase them now through their online shop.  [via]
