Apple iPhone 4 Legacy Case

Now de Keiser and Les Forges MDK studio worked on the next iconic design and present the iPhone 4 Legacy. Once again they pay tribute to an all time classic, in this case the original Macintosh 128k computer from the 80s. The original beige color of the computer and multicolor Apple logo are used on the iPhone 4 case. Hopefully the case will actually be produced. [via]

Steve Jobs: Billion Dollar Hippie

Broadly considered a brand that inspires fervour and defines cool consumerism, Apple has become one of the biggest corporations in the world, fuelled by game-changing products that tap into modern desires. Its leader, Steve Jobs, was a long-haired college dropout with infinite ambition, and an inspirational perfectionist with a bully’s temper. A man of contradictions, he fused a Californian counterculture attitude and a mastery of the art of hype with explosive advances in computer technology.

Insiders including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, the chairman who ousted Jobs from the company he founded, and Jobs’ chief of software, tell extraordinary stories of the rise, fall and rise again of Apple with Steve Jobs at its helm.

With Stephen Fry, world-wide web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and branding guru Rita Clifton, Evan Davis decodes the formula that took Apple from suburban garage to global supremacy.

The RZA’s World App For iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch

What could be more appropriate from Bobby Digital, aka RZA, than his own app for the iPhone or iPad? RZA has gotten together with Charisma Apps to introduce RZA’s World, something that will give fans a glimpse into the world of the rapper/producer/actor/composer. RZA’s World is broken down into four chambers: Soundtrack to Your Life, in which RZA provides original beats and worldly advice; RZA’s Chess Chamber, which offers 3D gameplay (remember, a game of chess is like a sword fight); The Vault, where one can find archival content including two Bobby Digital films; and finally, What’s News — the latest news on the man himself. Click through for video of RZA discussing the features of his app, then head over to iTunes to purchase.  [via]

Air Cassette App For iPhone, iPod & iPad

Go back to the 80´s with this app for iPhone. AirCassette is an audio player that has an interface just like a cassette tape. The song information is on the tape label, while the tape spins in a realistic way. The application also allows you to save your favorite mixtapes. After you create some mixtapes, as they were called in the 80s, you can then post them on Facebook or send them via e-mail. You can also choose a number of different models of the nostalgic cassette. AirCassette is now available on the App Store for $1.99. It works with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
