iCufflinks by Adafruit Industries

Cufflinks are an essential part of the stylish and modern gentleman…and teck geeks, too.  Adafruit Industries has created a pair of open source electronic cufflinks that pulsate like Apple Macs!  Made from machined aluminum with a subtle pulsating LED light source.  They will release a necklace version, also.  You can cop’em HERE.  For now check out the videos for the coolness.

Red Pop – Iphone Camera Connector

Beep Industries of Manchester, England, has developed the Red Pop. Their goal was to raise $20,000 on community startup environment, Kickstarter, and due to its popularity it has garnered over $39,000.  Red Pop is an accessory for the Apple iPhone with a red button that allows you to press the button and snap a photo. You’ll need a Red Pop app from the iTunes App store to assist the accessory.  Check out the pitch tutorial above.

FRAMED* Art Frame by Yugo Nakamura

This is the digital innovation of the year for art lovers who embrace technology just as much.  FRAMED* by Yugo Nakamura of tha ltd. design agency, is an interactive digital art frame that is 34mm thick and uses Wi-Fi to download digital works of art. These works could be stationary or moving works of art that fill the frame with movement and add something unique to your home décor.

FRAMED* is a 40 inch, full LED HD Panel with 9:16 aspect and contains an Intel Core i5 processor, Windows 7, Adobe Flash processing and built in camera and microphone.  Another added extra is that it can be adjusted using an iPhone app.  Take a peek at the video below and check the FRAMED* website for further developments. Design Awards 2011 Judge: Pharrell Williams

Not content with dominating the charts, Pharrell Williams has moved seamlessly into the world of fashion and design,  as well as running his own Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream clothing labels, he has designed eyewear and jewellery for Louis Vuitton and furniture for Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin. Wallpaper Magazine catches up with him in New York and talks about why he thinks the iPad, the Villa Vals in Switzerland and Louis Vuitton, were clear winners for this year’s 2011 Design Awards.  Produced by Craig Shapiro, Cedar Street Films.

Creative Control Reviews the Logitech Revue

 

Some of the people behind Creative Control - Chike Ozah, Ahmaya Knoelle and Dame Dash visit the Logitech Loft in New York City for an exclusive Creative Control viewing session of Google TV’s new Logitech Revue console. 

What is that you ask?  Well the revue integrates with your HDTV and cable or satellite system to provide seamless access to the Web, your TV programming, compatible DVRs, and Android apps (cool!!!).  It searches and controls with an intuitive keyboard controller with built-in touch pad and it unifies all your entertainment systems with one controller.

The future is here, baby!!!  I gotta get one of these!
