Louis Vuitton has debuted its line of menswear for the 2011 Spring and Summer season that features looks for the smart and worldly male with edge. Louis Vuitton enlisted the design aesthetic of tattoo artist Scott Campbell who designed logos printed on items throughout the new line. Also featured in the brightly colored collection are lightweight fabrics, exotic leathers, nylon bags and even colored python jackets.

Gucci partners with the Recording Academy to launch a Grammy’s special edition watch and jewelry collection, designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini.” The i-Gucci, features two discreet digital hands revealing local time, double-layout digital display features a special tag celebrating the Grammy’s partnership. The yellow PVD stainless-steel case is complemented by a wide, black or white rubber strap that sports both the Grammy and Gucci logos. [via]
Magic Johnson has become a successful businessman venturing into commercial real estate, health clubs, restaurants, movie theatres and stock investment. According to the Los Angeles Times, Magic has sold his 4.5% ownership stake in the Los Angeles Lakers to billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong which is estimated to be worth $27 million. In addition to selling his stake in the NBA franchise, he sold 105 Starbucks franchises back to the company for $100 million. Speculation has it that Johnson is in the pursuit to acquire a NBA team which could be the reason for liquidating his assets. [via]

Well Xenatec, the high-end German car customizer that brought us the first Maybach coup - Excelero seen inJay-Z’s “Lost One” video, brings for the Maybach 57S Coupe. The 2 door sport luxury sedan came about when designer Burch Fred Hardt “pushed the B-pillar back 508mm (20 inches) and increased the curvature of the roof by installing more rakish A- and C-pillars” (whatever that means). The 57S Coupe comes equipped with a bullet proof armored body, a full glass roof, bespoke interior, 21-inch alloy wheels and shares the same specs as the original 57 S such as a 6.0L twin-turbo V12, 612-hp and 737 lb-ft of torque which will enable the lighter coupe to go 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds enabling it to hit top speeds of up to 17o mph. Over the weekend, Mercedes-Benz sent out a press release revealing the second generation CLS. The four-door coupe will make its debut at the 2010 Paris motor show. Mercedes-Benz created a completely new look with the second generation CLS, while still bearing some of the main design components from its predecessor.
The interior of the 2012 CLS-Class is distinguished by a timeless design which combines discreet elegance with innovative details and handcrafted perfection. The refined interior compliments the use of high-quality trim elements, located on the instrument panels, center console and door linings. Customers can choose between high-gloss brown burl walnut or high-gloss black ash. For an even more progressive look, black piano lacquer or carbon fiber trim elements are also available. New CLS customers will be able to choose from five different interior colors and four types of premium leather.
No official engine specs have been disclosed but eMercedesBenz predicts the new CLS will sport a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 and for those looking for more power, an optional 4.6-liter V8 that fetches 430 horsepower will be available and a AMG edition that could sport a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8.
