Louis Vuitton iPad Cases

This is the most luxurious accessory for 2010′s most covetable gadget. Louis Vuitton’s iPad case, a simple sleeve in the label’s signature Monogram or the monochrome Damier Graphite, is the first unveiled by major designer for Steve Jobs’ all-conquering tablet. It lends the device the feel of a lightweight, ultra-portable attaché case – appropriate given that it is superseding your offline files and folders. It also gives your iPad some much-needed protection, because believe us, as much as you want an iPad, you will accidentally drop it at some point. The only drawback? It won’t be in stores until 2011. The New One Hundred Dolla, Dolla Bill Y’all…

The new One Hundred Dollar note was recently unveiled yesterday.  Outside the United States, the $100 note is the most widely circulated and most often counterfeited denomination. The blue 3-D Security Ribbon on the front of the new hundred dollar bill contains images of bells and 100s that move and change from one to the other as you tilt the note. Read more…

Dame Dash for HELEN YARMAK + Ping-Pong & Pool with an Ex Boxing Champ

Dame Dash goes to cop an official scarf by Helen Yarmak of New York.  I’m not one for fur, but I am one for a mean scarf game.  Check out Dame’s activities to the backdrop of Curren$y’s music from his debut album “Pilot Talk” .  Read more…

Jay Smooth Tackles Lyricism Vs. Capitalism in Hip-Hop

This has been the great debate in the last 10 years or so and Hip-Hop intellectual Jay Smooth tackles the subject with an enlightening view that I share.  Honesty, I like some of the ignant sh*t too, but nothing beats lyrical wizardry…word to Wu-Tang.  So take a listen as Jay Smooth waxes poetic about this theoretical clash in Hip-Hop.  Read more…

Good Wood NYC – An introduction

The Making of Old Spice’s Commercial: The Man Your Man Could Smell Like

You wonder, now you don't, back at me, they'll tell you, now back at me...I'm on a horse...

This had to be one of my favorite commercials during the Super Bowl minus the fact that my girlfriend had no interest in the Super Bowl until this commercial came on…yeah, I noticed, lol and from the popularity of it (the commercial has over 2.7 million views on YouTube…in less than a month!).  Well, did you ever wonder how’d they do that?  Read more…

If and when I “jump the broom” I’ll have to seriously look into getting one of these instead of the basic wedding band…I guess it’s the individualist nature in me of marching to the beat of my own drum.

Good Morning, Michelle – By Paul-Jean Uybarreta

I don’t know who Michelle is, but I thought she this was a very sexy production, except for the smoking by Paul-Jean Uybarreta.  I always appreciate the art of film and I like the song, too…if anybody knows it, let me know.

Pharrell Williams’ Keynote Conversation at MIDEM 2010

Artist, über-producer and style icon Pharrell Williams took to the stage at MidemNet today, for an interview conducted by Cornerstone co-CEO Rob Stone.  They cover a myriad topics that give insight into music, life, passion, technology, growth and learning.

I’m always impressed by Pharrell’s knowledge and outlook on life, dude’s really an inspiration and he always is so open to create different avenues for creative people.

Take a look/listen at the conversation…

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.  Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.  Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become.  Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs

…did you feel that?  I did.
