Converse 3 Artists 1 Song: KiD CuDi Edition

This summer, Converse further activates its commitment to being a catalyst for creativity by bringing together three extraordinary musicians from different genres to form a unique collaboration known as Three Artists. One Song. The nucleus of this initiative is a brand new, all original track featuring Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast, Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and Kid Cudi that will be released this July and available to music fans globally via free download at converse.com and authorized Converse websites around the world. In addition to collaborating on the track, each of the artists also participated in the creation of the music video, which will be released later this summer.

In anticipation of the song’s release, each artist is also featured in a short film, with the second installment exploring Kid Cudi’s life, and the influences that make him one of today’s most pioneering artists. The film captures Cudi exploring his native Cleveland and provides a unique look into his artistic journey.  Check out the video after the jump Read more…

Tiret Gotham Watch

If Bruce Wayne wore a watch, what would it look like?  Tiret New York tried to imagine the answer to that question and came up with this – the Gotham Collection.  Inspired by the Batman universe’s version of New York City, the timepiece looks every bit as dark as the setting that inspired it.  Sporting art deco sensibilities and modernist flair, it’s a piece I can definitely see the millionaire vigilante rocking.

The Gotham Collection consists of two models, one chronograph (brown bezel and strap after the jump) and one power reserve (black bezel and strap pictured above).  Both  are decked in a variety of fine materials, including white gold, steel, ceramic and natural rubber.  Buyers can also request precious gems to be added to the mix.  They use Swiss ETA 2897 movements for the time-telling mechanism, with a Valjoux 7750 for the chronograph. The Tiret New York Gotham Collection has been limited to 300 pieces.  No word on price, but let’s just say Dame Dash isn’t known for his modesty.  Hit the jump to see Dame’s Tiret features with cameos by Stacey Dash, Curren$y and himself. Read more…
