The Kno packs two 14.1″ (1440 x 900) spacious panels, touch-screen interaction with stylus support, a fully stocked store, video, note-taking, sharing and a community. Kno is everything a textbook was, and will be. It’s stunningly book-like and can display a complete textbook without scrolling. Kno even opens flat like a book or folds back on itself as a single panel slate. With this much screen space it has to be an energy vampire right? We are surprised to hear that Kno is projected to get six to eight hours of battery life, because each screen has its own battery. As Apple’s iPad has proven to be a worldwide success with over 2 million sold, the need for more high-end cases for those luxury minded owners is emerging. Earlier, Louis Vuitton introduced their upcoming iPad case solution, and now Gucci is getting into the game with a line of cases of their own. Designed by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini, the cases, which come in black rubberized leather and neoprene rubber, have Guccissima GG detail and a strap closure. Priced at ($230), Gucci’s iPad cases will be up for pre-sale starting June 7th on gucci.com and finally available for purchase at their flagship stores on June 15th. Eminem releases his new video for Not Afraid, which is a really good song. I’m much more of a fan of his more introspective songs than the singy-songy radio friendly tracks.
