HERRLICHT – Hand-Crafted Wooden Glasses

Since  designer Andreas Licht began to develop his first collection of optical frames some years ago, HERRLICHT has become a synonym for wood glasses. They combine design and craftsmanship with the qualities of the material in a unique way. In every HERRLICHT frame the individual grain of the wood is preserved much like the rings in a tree. By exploring the possibilities of the material Andreas Licht creates elaborate, beautiful frames.

HERRLICHT wood frames consist of 100% wood. Each model is made from either maple, pear or walnut. With their individual shade and structure HERRLICHT glasses are in no way mass-produced. The material is light, warm and sensuous, the design sophisticated and timeless.  Part of the HERRLICHT collection is a beautiful case, too, naturally made of wood. Its cylindrical form opens like a seed vessel, in an elegant and fascinating way.
