I thought the first two episodes got off to a bit of a slow start. However, given the talented cast and sharp writing style, I remain hopeful that it will really hit its stride in the episodes to come. I’ve read a few reviews that have said as much.
By the way, have you checked out the FREE mixtape at HBO.com? I actually really enjoyed it, and found it to be a nice complement to the series itself. Neat marketing idea, right?
