The Penny Shooter by Cardnetics

A penny for your thoughts...

The Penny Shooter does just as the name says. The fold-up magazine allows you to load up to ten US pennies and fire them off in rapid succession. The card measures 2″ x 3.5″, but unfortunately in order to accommodate the pennies it has a hefty .09″ thickness without the rubber bands. Watch the video embedded above to see the Penny Shooter in action.  They’re currently sold out, but I can’t wait to induce copper mayhem with Cardnetic’s Penny Shooter

Nike & Kobe Bryant’s “Bruce Lee” Campaign

Nike and Kobe Bryant came together to create the ‘Bruce Lee’ campaign for the Nike Zoom Kobe V Bruce Lee, which is inspired by Enter the Dragon and Game of Death films.  I’m not really a Kobe fan, I’m team LeBron, b*tches! and he has yet to put out a pair of kicks I like, but I am a Bruce Lee fan and I like the campaign idea.  They should have put Kareem Abdul-Jabbar a.k.a. Hakim up in that piece! Check out the shots… Read more…

HBO’s “How To Make It In America”

Check out the brand new HBO show from the producers of  the hit series Entourage, Mark Wahlberg, called How to Make It in America. The plot is somewhat similar to Entourage with a group of young guys searching for success in the big city, although this series begins before the fame and glory and takes place in the New York art scene. The show stars Bryan Greenberg, Victor Rasuk, Shannyn Sossamon, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Lake Bell, Luis Guzman and James Ransone and Kid Cudi.

I hope this is good, because I hadn’t been feeling HBO’s Sunday lineup since Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage’s seasons ended.
